| Participants must be between 16-30 years of age as on February 10, 2007. Participant should be a citizen of India. Participants shall not be a professional singer and shall not be under any contract which will prohibit him/her from entering into any management contract/recording contract and/or merchandising contract. Participants should not have any criminal record and/or be undischarged insolventand/or of an unsound mind. The auditions will be held only in Hindi language. Participants will be required to fill an application form at the venue of the auditions. Participants who are between 16-18 years must be accompanied by their natural/legal guardian and all participants must carry proof of age and identity such as birth certificate/ school leaving certificate/ ration card/college id/ driving license/passport/ voter's ID/ pan card along with one (1) passport size photograph plus one (1) full length and one (1) frontal photograph. The winner will enter into a Prize Agreement with SET India Private Limited(“SET”) and a Recording Agreement with Sony BMG for a music album. The top 30 finalists of season 2 (i.e. "Indian Idol – 2") will not be allowed to participate in auditions this year. |
